 BIODIVERSITY GENOMICS LAB
at the University of Copenhagen

Dive deep into the fascinating world of animal biodiversity, their evolutionary history and genomic evolution

OUR LAB

We are the Biodiversity Genomics research group at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark led by Assistant Professor Josefin Stiller. We use various genomics approaches to uncover the secrets of animals, their evolutionary history and the impacts of changes in their environment. The ultimate goal of this work is to learn from the past in order to protect and maintain our wonderful biodiversity. We work on a range of different organisms, including birds, marine invertebrates, and marine fishes such as seahorses, seadragons and their relatives.
